The Best of Minivans Are Hot

This e-book is a place to celebrate the hilarity of motherhood. It’s based off the years I spent chronicling my life as a mother of young children on my blog, Minivans Are Hot. The stories are my own, but they could also be yours.

I’m certain my children aren’t the only ones who gave themselves homemade haircuts, used my walls as a grand canvas for drawing, and ate their baby brother’s umbilical cords by accident.

Okay, so maybe I’m the only one who had a child do that. And yes that is, unfortunately, a very true story.

These are the stories you all loved the most. The ones that made you laugh, the ones that made you cry. Some of these stories even made you cringe. But for six years, we took this motherhood journey together, and what a jolly good time we had. So why not take the ride once more in our metaphorical minivan, and remember the laugh out loud moments of mothering very small children?

It’s something of an identity crisis for many women to suddenly find they have become that mom. You know, the one who drives a minivan and drops her kid off at school in her pajama pants. It’s the natural evolution of life as a mother, I suppose, but it’s still a little strange – even if minivans are extremely convenient.

But, you know what? Us minivan moms are still rockin’! Can I get an amen? So we’ll hold our heads high and proudly proclaim that minivans are, indeed, hot.

Keep saying it, moms – I promise you’ll start to believe it.
